About Jackie Norrie
Hi, I was born and raised in Truro, Nova Scotia. I have deep roots in the communities I serve. I bring strong local knowledge and a genuine appreciation for the lifestyle and opportunities our region offers. I’m committed to helping buyers and sellers navigate the real estate market with honesty, integrity, professionalism, and personalized service tailored to each client’s unique needs.Before beginning my career in real estate, I built extensive experience in sales, marketing, project management, and business development. I worked with Prestige Homes, a division of the Shaw Group, as a sales representative and property development project manager specializing in modular home construction throughout Central Nova Scotia. My background also includes roles with Ski Wentworth, the Dutch Mason Blues Festival, and Scotiabank Centre in Halifax. I began my career at CKCL/CKTO radio in Truro.
I grew up on the Norrie farm in North River/Onslow, NS. I was raised to believe in being very involved with the community to help it become a better place. Whether it be through charitable organizations, music festivals, politics or sports. I currently live at Shortts Lake with my son Nathan. In my free time, I can be found playing tennis at the Truro Tennis Club and the Cougar Dome.
I became a real estate agent because for many years I have been passionate about the housing industry. I was inspired by my father, Rod, who was a developer of residential subdivisions. It is very rewarding to me to build relationships with families to help them find their forever home.
